Linkin Park: 8 Bit Rebellion

I got the game earlier today and just finished it, So here's the review.

First off, it's not a quick 10 minute game, and it's not a full fledged DS/PSP like game with days of gameplay. It does have a good 3-5 hours of gameplay, puzzles, some complicated parts, and plenty to do when your finished as well. It's also said extra missions will be added with updates.

Basic Synopsis:
So the basic idea of the game is that Pixelcorp has been modernizing Linkin Park's 8 Bit world, and they and a bunch of citizens don't like it, so they are planning a rebellion. Each member of Linkin Park recorded a track for a final song that would motivate the rebels into attacking and taking down Pixelcorp. Pixelcorp finds out about the rebellion and starts stealing the tracks, and you have to work with the band to get them back.

The Game has an amusing and fun plot, interesting characters, surprise turns in the plot, subplots, and bosses. While it is not the most challenging game ever, it is just interesting to see how the plot unfolds. Also if you saw my post about this before, you know that when you beat the game you get their unreleased single "Blackbirds" in your in-game media library to listen during the game. You also get "8 Bit" versions of Linkin Park classics like "In The End" and "New Divide". If you don't want to listen to the built in songs, you can listen to any song from your personal library. If you ever get stuck in a spot in the game, you can communicate with other players in game and ask for some help, I found this to be an interesting addition to the game, and I hope the idea is expanded into possibly something like a battle game where you use gathered weapons to challenge other players.

In the end it is a very fun, addicting, and unique game you can pick up in Apple's Appstore for $4.99. If your a LP fan, or even if your not and you like unique short but sweet addicting games, you should definitely download Linkin Park: 8 Bit Rebellion!

Also, my Bullet For My Valentine Fever Album review is coming soon! I also might review the new As I Lay Dying album if I can get my hands on a copy, I'll do my best, Peace, Love, and MUSIC. Rock on!
