I based it off their Grammy performance, hence the lack off Kanye (YAY!)....and I just don't like Kanye's part in Forever. I liked their Grammy performance, but it was one of the only one NOT available on iTunes so I'm making it. Unfortunately it doesn't have Barker's kick ass drumming, but I tried to get the songs to blend together as close to how they did it at the grammies as possible.

Okay guys I will be getting my hands on Windows 7 Home Premium and will install it on my Macbook via bootcamp. I will do a little comparison on the two OS's and will report back what I have experienced. But for just a little background here are some specs of my laptop.

My iTunes Library has 960 Songs in it. I am taking recommendations for the last 40 songs. Bullet For My Valentine: The Fever and Your Betrayal

Bullet's new songs Your Betrayal and Begging For Mercy are available on iTunes in the album "Your Betrayal [Digital 45]" and I must say, both songs are FREAKING AMAZING! They also released the album art for their upcoming album "Fever" here it is!

Now I may have a problem talking my parents into allowing me to buy this, hopefully they will come out with a deluxe version with a sleeve over the cd like they did with The Poison, but nevertheless I WILL be getting this CD!

Black Eyed Peas - Formula For Success?

Everyone knows The Black Eyed Peas, and whether it's from their new success with The E.N.D. and Boom Boom Pow, I Gotta Feeling, Meet Me Halfway, or Imma Be, or if it's back with Elephunk or any of their older albums. Personally my favorite song from them is "Where is the Love" followed by "Let's Get Re-Started".

So even if you don't like BEP, they are a world famous band and have had HUGE success. You can't even count the number of times one of their recent songs or their album The E.N.D. has been nominated for award shows, held at #1 of a song list, ect. During a time Boom Boom Pow, I Gotta Feeling, Meet Me Halfway, and Imma Be have all been #1 on iTunes singles list, and I Gotta Feeling was iTunes most downloaded song of all time.

So hows did they get this success? Well the music industry is very hard to get into, and even when your into it it is rather easy to get knocked out of it, you have to do what you do perfectly and it has to be wanted by the audience. BEP's catchy songs, modern and futuristic themes and beats, mesmerizing (edited) voices, insane music videos, and of course Fergie showing herself off all contribute to the bands success. They base their songs on the young generation, they talk about technology, they have all of these futuristic sounds and elements in their music videos that appeal to kids, teens, and young adults. They also do a lot of promotion, they allowed their music to be remixed and edited by many DJs including David Guetta, they even held a remix contest for aspiring DJs! They let Tappulous release an iPhone app featuring their music in a DJ mixing track based game called Riddim Ribbon. They released their album The E.N.D. Deluxe Edition for $9.99, they gave a free copy with DJ Hero, ect. All of these things helped lead to such a huge success.
