Overcame the iPhone VS Windows drivers!
Okay so here is how I got my iPhone 3GS, which was jailbroken on 3.1.1 originally that mysteriously stopped syncing to start syncing once again with my laptop running on Windows Vista Home Premium. First off I used another computer to restore the phone to default settings, no luck trying to sync after that. I tried manually installing the correct iPod drivers for the phone, but windows would not let me (even on admin account). I then removed every trace of Apple on my laptop and reinstalled iTunes, and to no prevail. So finally I shut off the iPod assistant, restarted my computer, then manually turned it back on, opened iTunes and after rebooting (switching off an on) my iPhone it was able to sync. I am still syncing this moment and it has been for the last 45 minutes...but that's because I have a lot of data that needs to be synced.
Final Words to Windows: Fuck you, my next computer WILL be a Mac.
Some songs I recently came upon that deserve some attention:
Izzo/In The End
Jay-Z & Linkin Park
Collision Course
Blood Red, White, and Blue
Rise Against
Revolutions Per Minute
Shout at the Devil
Hollywood Undead
Desperate Measures

Windows trying to mess with iPhone users?
Well I updated my windows using the update checker and low an behold the next time I plugged in my iPhone it started reinstalling the drivers. iTunes didn't recognize it... Windows ended up reading it as a camera not an iPod. While it does this normally, this time it didn't even read it as an iPod, just as a camera so iTunes can't find it. I then tried to restore it, and it found it but couldn't connect. I tried manually reinstalling the drivers to the iPod ones that are present in my computer and it said "Recommended drivers already installed." and wouldn't let me change it to the iPod ones. If I find a solution I'll let you in, but unfortunately I currently have a completely restored iPhone, no numbers, apps, music...once sn0wbreeze comes out I am so going to use it to restore to my backup. So all I have to say is,
iH8 windows i! @pple @ll +hE w/\y
lol maybe I should find an jailbreak app developer and collab something? then I could use one of those cool alias names 8D (mines gonna be @pp13 rel3eL [Apple Rebel])

Um....hello. I'm going to me reviewing mostly video games, and I feel like I need to introduce myself. My name is Andrew, and I was planning to do videos

just...comment, I guess....Oh! One last thing. I will be posting some music reviews, but not that many....I hope...

Jailbreaking: Taking a Risk or a Precaution?
Apple and the jailbreak developers like the Dev-Team have been battling over it for a while with firmware releases and minor walls that the jailbreak developers eventually get past anyway, but not Apple has released the new shipment of iPhone 3GS units with a different kind of file that usually only checks for a corrupted boot logo, but now checks for a edited firmware, which is what is changed for jailbreaking. Will this stop jailbreaking? I don't think so, I think it'll be just another wall that the developers will get past. On Apple's website they go very harsh on jailbreaking because a lot of people use it to pirate apps and unlock their phones to use with other service providers. I have a jailbroken iPhone 3GS and have had a jailbroken iPod Touch 1G. My iPhone has no pirated apps and is still locked to my AT&T sim card. I just like the customization and advanced functionalities my phone has now, such as quick reply for text, folders to organize apps, customized background and themes, and much more. It gives us what Apple could not and would not allow.
Also in Cydia, the jailbreaker's app store, there are many pop-up blockers and apps that protect your phone from sites and adds gathering your information, something that Apple failed in doing well. Jailbreaking in my opinion is fine, pirating apps is not. So Apple, bring on the fight!
My Jailbroken additions...
----
Five Icon Dock
Folders
Background
Custom Theme
Customized Icon
Working Clock Widget on Lockscreen
Password protected apps
Apps running in the Background
Notifications in top Nav bar
Wireless SSH
3G unrestricted Skype
Pong
iClassic Music Player
Youtube Downloader
Ringtone Creator
Call Spoofing and Recording
ect...
